Class time will run a full three weeks for initial tickets holders and two weeks for prior ticket holders.
Students must be at least 16 years of age. Students aged 16-18 years old must have a parent or guardian signature for consent.
These students from 16-18 will have an age restriction meaning they will have to be within 5 minutes of a ticket holder that is 19 years or older.

This course covers all the emergency medical techniques considered to be the responsibility of the first aid attendant providing emergency care in the industry.  Includes AED, blood pressure, bloodborne pathogens, childbirth, Basic life Support for Infant, Children and Adults which equals CPR HCP, Patient Packaging and Transportation and Multiple patient triage.  This course is recognized Canada-wide. ENFORM H2S Alive: Hydrogen Sulphide Training 
8 hours
This one-day course is intended for all workers in the petroleum industry who could be exposed to hydrogen sulphide (H2S)
The course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself and basic rescue techniques.
Each student is required to operate self-contained breathing apparatus, a detector tube device, and participate in CPR and rescue lift and drag exercises.
An industry standard H2S Alive certificate valid for three years is issued upon successful completion of a written examination and demonstration of the required skills.
Certification in CPR is not provided from this course.

1 - 2 hours

Must possess a valid H2S Alive Ticket. A written examination must be completed within one hour and with a passing mark of 70%.
Demonstration of basic skills must be performed correctly the first time, without coaching.
They include dawning of a self-contained breathing apparatus, pre-service check, operation of a detector tube device,CPR,
rescue drags and lifts and 1 mistake and it is a 100% fail.

Traffic Control (TCP)/Flagging

Pre-assessment exam will be given on the first day.  This exam is designed to assess the candidates’ knowledge of Traffic Control concepts.

Includes theory and practical hands-on training. Course coverage will include the responsibility and qualifications of Traffic Control Persons; review of Worksafe BC regulations,

Bear Awareness

The objective of this program is to increase the students understanding of bears and proper safety techniques. The course provides factual bear information including
material on bear habitat, species identification and avoidance of bear encounters when hiking, camping and working in bear country.

The students cover a wide range of information regarding bear encounters including black bear versus grizzly encounters, defensive/aggressive attacks versus predator
bear attacks, and the safe handling and usage of defensive weapon such as: bear spray, bangers, guns, knives, etc.

ENFORM Light Duty Vehicles - Driver Improvement

This one-day theory-based, classroom-only, instructor-lead course is designed to provide oilfield truck drivers with the knowledge to improve their on-road safe driving behaviors and attitudes.
The target audience is personnel who drive light-duty vehicles, such as pick-ups, cars and hot shot units to and from field locations. Designed to reduce company vehicle accidents, it covers professional driver attitude, defensive driving skills, safe vehicle operation, safety and survival equipment, driving practices for off-highway and adverse conditions, and non-driving skills (map reading, hand signals, vehicle equipment operations, load securement and tire chain installation).

The GODI course consists of the following: professional driving attitude, off-highway driving techniques, regulatory requirements, inspection and maintenance,
non-driving skills and hauling and towing.

Please Note: OH&S Regulation 23.22 a) - A vehicle driver in the oil and gas industry must, before operating a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) rating greater than 5500 kg
(12,000 lbs) be certified in the ENFORM General Oilfield Driver Improvement (GODI) Course or other appropriate training.

The Oilfield Hauler course consists of the following: Moving equipment, off-highway driving strategy, hauling equipment, equipment functions, winching, personal protective equipment, winching equipment, winching procedure, crane and truck mounted crane operation, crane specifications, rigging procedures, hazard evaluation, planning a lift, lifting procedure, securing loads, personal protective equipment, load positioning, hazards associated with hauling a load, load limits and securing devices, tie down procedures, procedures for securing specific loads, over dimensional and overweight load procedures, procedures for pilot and trail drivers, hazards, rig moves, signals and communications, the chain of command, rig site hazards, types of rigs, and rig tear-down and set-up procedures.

Please note: OH&S Regulation 23.22 b) – A vehicle driver in the oil and gas industry must, before operating a vehicle with a GVW rating greater than 15,000 kg (33,000 lbs) be certified in the ENFORM Heavy Hauler Course or other appropriate training. Sand and water trucks are exempt.

Provides both classroom lecture and hands on learning

This course provides the students knowledge of how falls occur, ways to prevent falls and proper use of fall protection equipment.

Other points that will be instructed:

ATV Course

 Delivered by a certified Canada Safety Council Instructor. Students will learn safe riding skills and excellent safe riding habits. You will also be taught the controls, turning, braking, climbing hills, reading terrain, loading and unloading ATV’s and the importance of respecting our environment. After you have completed our course you will feel better about your ATV skills. Ages 6-11 must have parents sign a waiver. ATV must be 70cc or less. Ages 12-15 must have parents to sign a waiver and ATV’s must be 70cc-90cc or less.

*Requirements for this course: ATV, Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, Work boots, Long Pants and long sleeve shirt.*

Snowmobile Course
10 Hours

 In the theory portion (4 hours) of this course, you will learn legislation regarding you roads and access, towing trailers and load limits. In the practical portion (6 hours) you will learn about traveling in groups, safe signaling, learning use of avalanche transmitters, rescue techniques, evaluation of snow conditions in mountain terrain, overnight in mountainous terrain, winter condition, survival basics and hypothermia theory.

 Ages 6-11 years MUST BE DIRECTLY SUPERVISED and have parents sign a waiver. Snowmobiles must be 120cc or less
